RPDL of the week
The closest picture I can find in my archives to fit in with it being Halloween is this one. The path of the old Scarborough to Whitby line, lined with overarching branches and leaving the path in gloom even on what was a sunny day. I can imagine it feels quite a spooky place in the autumn or winter when the light is low.
I’m aware it’s not the best picture in the world, with the purple light of doom appearing round the upper branches, but then again it was taken on my fairly basic 2MP phone camera a few years ago. You get the idea.
Update: an amended version thanks to @pillmanuk on twitter.
